I did several jobs across my entire working life, one of the best things about being a UXer, is the fact that it's a such well paid job compare to tons of others, that actually often I can say No and I do it ,and I also leave the company if is necessary in order to adhere to actually what UX is.
Sure, I'm not saying that if at the end of the month someone has no money or have zero savings, he/she should do the same, but otherwise it's definitely a working option, if someone doesn't but can do it, well then he/she become part of the problem
